Connect Your Stripe Account

Connect a Stripe account now. Charging attendees via Stripe is coming soon.

What works today

You can connect your Stripe account to webMOBI now using one-click Stripe Connect. However, charging attendees for tickets through Stripe is coming soon and is not yet live.

For selling paid tickets today, use Razorpay - it is the live, supported path.

When Stripe charging goes live

Stripe uses Stripe Connect, so attendees will pay into your own Stripe account and funds will settle directly to your bank on Stripe's normal payout schedule. webMOBI never holds your funds.

webMOBI charges a 0% platform fee on your ticket revenue. You only pay Stripe's standard processing fees, billed by Stripe directly.

Before You Begin

To connect your Stripe account, you'll need:

An active Stripe account (Stripe supports 135+ countries)
An event in webMOBI that you are the owner of
Pop-ups and redirects allowed in your browser

Open the Payments tab

Go to Dashboard → Events and select your event
Open Settings for that event
Click the Payments tab
Find the Online Payment Gateways card and locate the Stripe section

Click "Connect Stripe Account"

This uses Stripe Connect, a secure one-click connection (OAuth). You do not need to copy or paste any API keys.

Click the "Connect Stripe Account" button
You'll be redirected to Stripe's authorization page
Sign in to your Stripe account if you're not already logged in
Review the access webMOBI is requesting and click Connect / Authorize
You'll be redirected back to the Payments tab in webMOBI

Confirm the connection

Back on the Payments tab you should see:

A green Connected badge under Stripe
The connected account name or email
A mode badge showing test or live

A connected Stripe account does not yet charge attendees for tickets - that capability is coming soon. To sell paid tickets right now, connect Razorpay.

Disconnecting

To remove the connection, return to the Payments tab and click Disconnect Stripe. This revokes webMOBI's access to your Stripe account.

Common Issues

Authorization failed

Confirm you signed in to the correct Stripe account
Make sure pop-ups and redirects are not blocked
Try the connect flow again from the Payments tab

"Stripe Connect is not configured"

This is a platform-side configuration message. Contact webMOBI support and we'll enable it.

I connected Stripe but can't charge for tickets

Expected for now. Stripe ticket-charging is coming soon. Use Razorpay for live paid ticket sales.
