Connect Your Razorpay Account

One-click connect to start selling tickets. Funds settle directly to you.

Your money goes straight to you

When you connect Razorpay, attendees pay into your own Razorpay account. The money settles directly to your bank account on Razorpay's normal payout schedule. webMOBI never holds, touches, or routes your funds.

webMOBI charges a 0% platform fee on your ticket revenue. You only pay Razorpay's standard transaction fees, which Razorpay bills you directly.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

An active Razorpay account (sign up free at razorpay.com if you don't have one)
Your Razorpay account KYC completed (so payouts can settle to your bank)
An event created in webMOBI that you are the owner of
Pop-ups and redirects allowed in your browser

Open the Payments tab

Go to Dashboard → Events and select the event you want to accept payments for
Open Settings for that event
Click the Payments tab
Find the Online Payment Gateways card and locate the Razorpay section

Click "Connect Razorpay Account"

This uses a secure one-click connection (OAuth). You do not need to copy or paste any API keys.

Click the "Connect Razorpay Account" button
You'll be redirected to Razorpay's authorization page
Sign in to your Razorpay account if you're not already logged in
Review the access webMOBI is requesting (read and write access to create and track payments on your account)
Click Authorize to grant access
You'll be redirected back to the Payments tab in webMOBI

Why no API keys? The OAuth connection is more secure than copying secret keys. webMOBI receives a scoped, encrypted access token for your account that can be revoked at any time by disconnecting.

Confirm the connection

Back on the Payments tab you should see:

A green Connected badge under Razorpay
The connected account name or email
A mode badge showing test or live

Razorpay is set as your primary gateway for this event. Attendees buying paid tickets will now be charged through your Razorpay account.

Test mode vs. live mode

Test mode

Simulates the full checkout without charging real money. Use it to rehearse your ticket flow before you go live. No payouts happen in test mode.

Live mode

Processes real payments into your Razorpay account. Only switch to live once you're ready to accept real money and your Razorpay KYC is complete.

Disconnecting

To stop accepting payments through this account, return to the Payments tab and click Disconnect Razorpay. This revokes webMOBI's access. Funds that already settled to your Razorpay account are unaffected.

Common Issues

Authorization failed or redirect didn't complete

Confirm you signed in to the correct Razorpay account
Make sure pop-ups and redirects are not blocked
Try the connect flow again from the Payments tab

"Razorpay Partner integration is not configured"

This is a platform-side configuration message. Contact webMOBI support and we'll enable it.

Payouts not reaching my bank

Payouts are controlled by Razorpay, not webMOBI. Check your settlement schedule and KYC status in your Razorpay Dashboard.
