Choose the session, scan the QR code on the badge, and WebMobi records who was in the room — from a phone at the door or a laptop at the desk.

The counts at the top update on their own every 15 seconds, including scans made on phones. Press refresh to update now.
One person at one door usually wants In / Out. If you staff separate entry and exit doors, set each to a single direction.
| Mode | What a scan does | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| In / Out | Checks the person in. If they're already inside, the scan checks them out. | One door, one scanner. |
| In only | Every scan is a check-in. | An entrance-only door or a session room. |
| Out only | Every scan is a check-out. Manual check-in still counts as a check-in. | A dedicated exit. |
| Checked in | Recorded. The name and session are shown. |
| Checked out | The visit is closed. |
| Already inside | They were checked in already — nothing is double-counted. |
| Already outside | An exit scan for someone who wasn't inside. Nothing changes. |
| Queued | Saved on the phone, waiting for a connection. It uploads by itself. |
Keep scanning. The app keeps a copy of your attendee list, so names still appear, and every scan is saved on the phone until it can upload. Rows marked queued change to their final result by themselves once the phone is back online.
To see what's waiting, tap the list icon at the top right of the scanner. Sync Status shows pending, synced and failed scans — use Sync Now to upload straight away or Retry Failed if any didn't go through.
In the Admin Panel tap View Reports: check-in rate, checked in and not arrived, check-ins by hour, and Session Attendance — tap a session to see the names. The share icon sends the report as text.
Open the event's Analytics. Session Attendance lists each session with who attended. Export CSV downloads a spreadsheet with every session check-in, in your event's time zone.
Scanning someone into a session doesn't also check them into the event, and checking them out of the event doesn't end their session visit. To count both, scan at the main entrance with Whole event selected, then scan again at each room with that session selected.
