  1. Go to Dashboard > Your Event > Attendees
  2. Click "Export" in the top right
  3. Select "Badge Export (with QR Codes)"
  4. Choose format:

Step 2: Print Badges

  • Size: 4" x 3" landscape (standard badge)
  • QR code: Bottom-right corner, minimum 1" x 1"
  • Badge shows: Name, organization, ticket type, QR code, event branding

Step 3: Prepare for Distribution

  • Insert badges into badge holders/lanyards
  • Organize alphabetically or by ticket type
  • Set up a registration desk for badge pickup

Option B: Email QR Codes

Attendees can show their QR code on their phone — no physical badge needed.

Automatic Email

When an attendee registers, they automatically receive a confirmation email with their unique QR code as an image, event details, and instructions to save or screenshot the code.

Resend QR Code

If an attendee loses their code: go to Dashboard > Attendees, find them, and click "Resend QR Code".

Option C: Mobile App QR Code

  1. Attendee opens the webMOBI Events app
  2. Navigates to the event
  3. Taps "My QR Code" in the menu
  4. Shows the QR code on their phone screen to staff

Pro tip: The app automatically increases screen brightness when viewing the QR code for easier scanning in any lighting condition.

Best Practices

  • Print a few blank badges for last-minute changes
  • Test print one badge before the full batch
  • Keep QR code area clean and flat for reliable scanning
  • Consider color-coding badges by ticket type (blue = General, gold = VIP)
  • Have a backup plan (manual check-in) for printer issues
