Before the Event

Step 1: Register for the Event

Sign up through the event registration page. Fill in your name, email, and select your ticket type.

Step 2: Check Your Email

You will receive a confirmation email with your registration details and a QR code badge. Keep this email handy.

Step 3: Save Your QR Badge

Screenshot or save the QR code from your confirmation email. You can also print it. This is your entry pass.

At the Venue — How to Check In

Option 1: Show Your QR Badge to Staff

The fastest way to check in. Simply show your QR code to event staff at the entrance.

  2. 2Show the QR code to the staff member at the entrance
  3. 3Staff scans your QR code with their device
  4. 4You are checked in — enjoy the event!

Option 2: Self-Service Check-in (Scan Venue QR)

No need to wait in line. Scan the venue QR code poster with your phone and check yourself in.

  1. 1Look for the large QR code poster at the venue entrance
  2. 2Open your phone camera and point it at the QR code
  3. 3A check-in page opens in your browser
  4. 4Enter the email you used during registration
  5. 5Tap 'Confirm Check-in' — you are in!

Option 3: Session Check-in (Individual Talks)

Some events track attendance per session. Scan the QR code at the session room door when entering a talk.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my confirmation email. What do I do?

Check your spam/junk folder first. If you still cannot find it, go to the event page and look for a 'Resend Confirmation' option, or contact the event organizer.

Can I check in without my QR code?

Yes! Use the self-service check-in method — scan the venue QR code and enter your registered email. Staff can also look you up by name or email.

I scanned the QR code but it says 'Already checked in'. Is that a problem?

No, this just means you have already been checked in. Duplicate check-ins are automatically prevented. You are good to go!

Can someone else use my QR code?

Each QR code is linked to your registration. Only one check-in per registration is allowed.

Do I need to check in for every session?

Only if the event uses session-level check-in. Look for QR code posters at session room doors. If there are none, you only need to check in once at the main entrance.

Tips for a Smooth Check-in

  • Save or screenshot your QR code before arriving — do not rely on mobile data
  • Have your confirmation email ready before joining the check-in line
  • If self-service check-in is available, use it to skip the line
  • Make sure your phone screen brightness is high so the QR code scans easily
